Can we lose our salvation? Contextual Bible-based answers:
--A person can't lose his/her salvation; that is, in the same manner as we
might lose our wallet, by accident. The word "forfeit" would be a better one,
which describes losing something by our own willful actions or omissions.
--A person can't lose what he/she never had.
--In His foreknowledge, God knows who truly believes in Christ and perseveres
to the end.
--Our lives (fruits) help us to know who is who.
--We are saved by Grace. Christ died to save the world, offering forgiveness
to anyone who repents and accepts it by faith in Him.
--God gives faith to everyone. It is up to us to decide in what or whom we
place it.
--God doesn't program some people to do evil, and go to Hell; and others to
do good and go to Heaven. He is Righteous, Holy, Just, and Loving. He has
created free human beings.
